New Delhi: Bhubaneswar Smart City has been adjudged the ‘Best Digital Payment Innovator’ in the 5-10 lakh population city category.
The city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh shares the position with Bhubaneswar. This award is part of an initiative taken up by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in August last year under Smart Cities Digital Payment Awards 2018.
The other categories were Best Digital Payment Adopter and Fastest Smart City Focusing on Digital Payments.
