Bhubaneswar COVID-19 Tally Crosses 13K; 31 From Unit 9 & 19 from Saheed Nagar

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Bhubaneswar breached 13000-mark and touched 13295 on Sunday with 483 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 205 are quarantine and 278 are local contact cases.

Barring one with travel history to Delhi, the remaining quarantine cases are contacts of previous patients.

While eight cases each have been reported from Saheed Nagar and Satya Vihar, seven are from IDCO colony, Unit 9.

The local contact cases include another 11 from Saheed Nagar and 10 from IDCO Colony, Unit 9. Another 14 cases have been reported from Unit 9 in the city.

The BMC also informed about 345 more patients recovering from the infection. The highest of 34 have been cured from 7th Batallion.
