Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has crossed the milestone of over 22 lakh COVID-19 vaccinations in the city.
As on September 5, the total doses of vaccines administered stood at 22,01,761. Of these, 12,27,542 received the first dose and 9,74,219 took the second dose.
Besides, 36,090 health workers have taken the first dose and 32,614 have taken the second dose. As for frontline workers, 56,325 have got the fisrt shot and 49,421 the second.
Age-group wise, 7,00,437 people in the 18-44 years bracket have taken the first dose and 5,32,913 have taken the second dose.
Similarly, 2,88,778 people in the 45-59 age group have taken the first dose and 2,37,653 have taken the second dose.
Apart from this, 1,45,912 people in the 60+ category have taken the first dose and 1,21,618 have taken the second dose.
