Bhubaneswar: DAV Public School at Pokhariput here distributed dry foods, toiletries and other essential items to the inmates of three old age homes in the city on Monday to support them for one month to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Principal Dr Sujata visited the three old age homes, People for Seva at Sundarpada and two branches of Anand Ashram at Old Town and Uttara, to distribute the items, the school said in a release.
Earlier, staff members of the school had donated two-day salaries to the Central and State relief funds to combat COVID-19 as well as distributed masks and sanitization materials to people.
