Bhubaneswar: There was a drop in daily COVID-19 positive cases in the city as 338 persons tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours.
The Capital City had witnessed the highest daily COVID-19 caseload this year with 451 cases on Saturday.
Of the new cases on the day, 290 were local contacts and 48 were from quarantine centres, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). The city also reported 126 recoveries during the period.
Among the local contact cases, maximum 19 were from Khandagiri, followed by 15 from Patia, 14 from Nayapalli, 13 from Old Town and 10 from Vani Vihar.
With the new addition, the number of active cases has gone up to 2527 while total cases have gone up to 35,679.
