Bhubaneswar: The School of Hotel Management (SHM) run by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) and Shailabala Women’s Autonomous College, Cuttack signed an MoU to provide internship opportunities to students and conduct faculty and staff development programmes.
The MoU was signed between SHM Dean Prof Anup Kumar Samantaray and Prof Indurekha Mohapatra, Head of Department of Home Science, Shailabala Women’s Autonomous College.
Another objective of the pact is to ensure skill development among the students and improve the quality and standard of education.
Among those present on the occasion on Tuesday were Prof Sushant Ranjan Chaini, Dr Anshuman Samal, Dr Sasmita Mohanty, Dr Parthasarathy Patra, Dr Pabitra Mohan Mohanty and Dr Lalat Indu Mishra on behalf of SHM. Dr Ajanta Naik, Professor of Home Science Department was present on behalf of Shailabala College.
On this occasion, various training and development programmes for the students were discussed.
