New Delhi: Dana Chang, a travel influencer, recently posted a video showcasing an extravagant Asian wedding organised in China.
The viral video, with millions of views across social media platforms, has surprised netizens.
“This is what a Crazy Rich Asian wedding looks like in real life,” Dana says in the video, showing her followers the extraordinary ways in which the bride and groom treated their guests.
The couple flew the guests to China, accommodated them in five-star hotels for five days, and provided a fleet of Rolls Royce cars and Bentleys for their transportation.
The décor brought European elegance to China with floral-adorned phone booths, custom newspapers, and quaint coffee shops as in Paris and London, Dang said and showed in the video.
What was more astonishing was that the newlyweds gave each guest $800 (approximately ₹66,000) in a ‘red pocket’. Traditionally, it’s the guests who bring ‘red pockets’ filled with money to bless the bride and groom at Chinese weddings.
