Mumbai: Model Sahil Shroff is a confirmed contestant for the 15th season of `Bigg Boss` hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and to be telecast on Colors from October 2, sources told IANS.
Sahil made his Bollywood with the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer `Don` (2011) as a young police officer. He also participated in the first season of the reality television competition `The Amazing Race Asia`.
Akasa Singh, who rendered her voice to `Naagin` and `Kheech meri photo`, is another confirmed contestant for the 15th season.
A new promo for Bigg Boss 15 had earlier revealed the names of four contestants – actors Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra and Simba Nagpal, and singer Afsana Khan.
However, Afsana Khan reportedly backed out from the show due to panic attacks. The Punjabi singer took to her Instagram stories to write, “main theek nai aa… duaa kro bimar hu bhut (I am not well, pray that I recover soon).” She had arrived in Mumbai with her partner Saajz earlier last week, News18 reported.
If sources are to be believed, Bigg Boss OTT contestants Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty and Nishant Bhat will also be seen in Big Boss 15.
Shamita was earlier seen on Bigg Boss 3 but quit midway to attend her sister Shilpa Shetty’s wedding with Raj Kundra.
The theme for this season is `Sankat in jungle`.
