BJD Takes Unassailable Lead In Patkura

Kendrapara: The BJD took an unassailable lead in the Patkura Assembly seat, the counting for which began on Wednesday.

By the end of the 16th round of counting, BJD candidate Sabitri Agarwalla polled 89,389 votes while BJP candidate Bijoy Mohapatra and Congress candidate Jayant Mohanty got 72,155 votes and 2016 votes respectively.

The final results will be announced after 17 rounds of counting.
