Berhampur: BJD’s E Vivek Reddy was on Friday elected Deputy Mayor of the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC).
Reddy won by 34 votes, defeating BJP’s D Karunakar.
Vivek Reddy was elected Corporator from Ward No. 42, while Karunakar won as Corporator from Ward No. 21 in the recently held ULB polls.
Last month, BJD’s Sanghamitra Dalei was elected Mayor of Berhampur, defeating BJP’s Sabita Suar by 20,236 votes.
