New Delhi: Political advertisements issued by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have influenced six in 10 urban Indians in their voting decision in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, according to a survey conducted by YouGov. As per the report, 76 per cent of urban Indians claim that they have seen some political advertisements around the Lok Sabha election, while only 14 per cent responded negatively.
Among those who have seen at least one political ad, 81 per cent claim to have noticed the BJP’s ads while 47 per cent have seen some ads by the Indian National Congress (INC) while only 12 per cent said they have seen ads by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
