Bhubaneswar: The BJD has submitted a memorandum to the chief electoral officer in Bhubaneswar on Thursday complaining that the BJP was circulating promissory forms called “Pratisruti Patra”, assuring voters land pattas after elections in “blatant violation” of the model code of conduct for elections.
The BJD enclosed a copy of the Pratisruti Patra. The BJD’s memorandum mentioned that the party had communicated to the poll office in this regard earlier too and sought its intervention to take exemplary action against the BJP for violating the model code of conduct.
