New Delhi: In a significant move ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday extended the tenure of its national president JP Nadda till June 2024.
The announcement came on the second and final day of BJP’s national council meeting at Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam.
Nadda had taken charge from Amit Shah in 2020.
During Nadda’s stint as BJP president, the saffron party won big Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
