New Delhi: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said the BJP-Sena relationship is like that of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. He was reacting to BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis’s remark who said the two former allies are not enemies.
“We are not India-Pakistan. Look at Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, it is like them. Our (Shiv Sena-BJP) political ways are different but the friendship will remain intact,” said Sanjay Raut on Monday.
On Sunday, Devendra Fadnavis, the former Maharashtra CM who the Uddhav Thackeray-led government ousted from power, said, “There are no ifs and buts in politics. There might be some differences with Shiv Sena but we are not enemies”.
Devendra Fadnavis was answering a question on the possibilities of BJP allying with Shiv Sena. Responding to a query on whether there is a possibility of the two former allies coming together again, Fadnavis said “appropriate decision” will be taken dependent on the situation, India Today reported.
