Cuttack: Body of a Class VI student, who had been missing since last evening, was found floating in the Mahanadi in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Tuesday.
Chauliaganj and Mangalabag police recovered the body after being alerted by locals of Kaliaboda.
According to sources, the deceased was a student of a local English Medium school. He, however, did not return home after attending school on Monday. After a frantic search to locate him proved futile, his family members lodged a missing complaint with Mangalabag police.
The father of the boy has identified the body, police said.
