Jajpur: The boundary wall of the second campus of Utkal University in Jajpur district collapsed last night due to heavy rain.
Sources said that the boundary wall of the university was built last year at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore.
While some locals have alleged that the boundary wall collapsed due to inferior quality of construction, others said that it was due to lack of a proper drainage system to release the stagnant rainwater.
The university authorities could not be contacted following the incident.
