Mumbai: The trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha was released on May 29, during the IPL 2022 final. However, netizens haven’t welcomed Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s film with open arms.
In fact, several social media users have called the public to boycott the Advait Chandan-directed film, which is scheduled to be released in theatres on August 11.
Aamir Khan is the subject of most trolls as Twitterati brings up the actor’s old controversial statements like ‘India is intolerant.’
Others don’t like the idea of watching a ‘copied’ film, with the original Hollywood masterpiece Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, is available on OTT platforms.
