Speaker Surjyanarayan Patro adjourned the session after the appropriation Bill was passed in the House. The session, which began on March 25, had six working days.
On the last day of the session, the Assembly approved the 2022-23 Finance Bill. Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari had tabled interim budget (vote-on-account) envisaging Rs 1,06,000 crore for next four months in the House on Wednesday.
The interim budget included Rs 1 lakh crore for the government sector, while the total budget outlay for 2022-23 is Rs 2 lakh crore against Rs 1.70 lakh crore in 2021-22. The proposed programme budget for 2022-23 is 33% more than that of 2021-22.
