Beijing: The Civil Aviation Administration of China has recommended members of cabin crew on flights to and from high-risk COVID-19 destinations to avoid using the bathroom by wearing disposable diapers.
That was the most striking point in the latest list of guidelines issued to airlines to prevent the spread of coronavirus and reduce risk of infection, reported Bloomberg.
High-risk destinations have been defined by countries and regions where coronavirus infections are more than 500 in every 1 million people.
The cabin crew also have to use medical protective masks, double-layer disposable medical gloves, goggles, disposable caps, disposable protective clothing and disposable shoe covers.
Flight crew needn’t wear disposable diapers, masks and goggles will suffice.
