Bhubaneswar: A division bench of Calcutta High Court on Tuesday
disposed off the writ petition filed by Chhattisgarh government
challenging the stay order of National Green Tribunal (NGT) on
uncommissioned projects.
The court asked Chhattisgarh to go to the single bench of the high court.
However, the next date of hearing in the single bench will be known
later.
On January 5, Union Minister for Water Resources Nitin Gadkari wrote
to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik seeking discussion between
Odisha and Chhattisgarh governments to settle the Mahanadi water
sharing dispute.
