Bhubaneswar: Antrix Corporation Ltd (a central PSU) has extended financial assistance to city-based NGO Parichay Foundation for installation of two automatic paper plate making machines.

“At the time of COVID-19 pandemic, distribution of street food is most vulnerable. The project of manufacturing and marketing of disposable paper plates will help street food vendors and their customers to have food with hygiene and also provide livelihood to the aspirant workers for the project,” Parichay Foundation president Dr Rosalin Patasani Mishra said.

Dr Sulochana Dash, Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, and Sulata Deo, General Secretary of Biju Mahila Janta Dal, were present during the installation of the machines at Kimbhiria Basti on the New Cuttack-Puri bypass road in Bhubaneswar last week.
