Participating in an interaction session through video-conference organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Odisha State office, the minister said the database is expected to solve the labour problem to be faced by the industries following return of migrant workers to their home states due to COVID-19 induced lockdown.

He said the companies can offer their franchise to reach inaccessible areas for them so that their business can increase and employment is generated.

On the fisheries sector, Sarangi advised the industries to come up with competitive pricing for the time being to encourage more consumption and sales. Besides, the government is taking steps to increase export of seafood, he added.
