Rourkela: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rourkela Steel Plant Dipak Chattaraj has called upon the executives to inculcate a belief among the employees with confidence-building measures to bring back normalcy in the plant.
Addressing a session of ‘Unmukt’-HR initiative, Chattaraj said revenue generation, expenditure control, process optimization and employee engagement are four major challenges faced by the RSP in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
Chattaraj elaborated on the measures taken by the steel plant to face the challenges of COVID-19. “We have to learn to live with the Coronavirus,” he said.
‘Unmukt’ is a communication initiative launched by the CEO to encourage the executives to brainstorm and suggest innovative ideas for improving the performance of the plant.
The 5th session of ‘Unmukt’ was attended by 13 members of the RSP Executive Association (RSPEA). The session was conducted with strict adherence to all the COVID-19 norms.
The representatives of RSPEA under the leadership of president Bimal Bisi put forth various suggestions to help RSP overcome all odds.
