Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Asit Tripathy on Thursday said being the chief secretary of a state is a big responsibility.
Expressing happiness over his appointment as the chief secretary, he said it is a privilege for any IAS officer to hold the highest office.
Talking about governance, the 1986-batch IAS officer said the administrative priority has been clearly laid out by the Chief Minister. The government schemes and projects under the social justice sector have to reach the people in a transparent manner through the 5T (Teamwork, Transparency, Time, Technology and Transformation) principles.
Asked about his priorities, Tripathy said that he had just come to know about the notification. “I am yet to take charge. I will interact with you after taking over the new assignment,” he added.
