Cuttack: The Rolex Circus at Bali Jatra ground in Odisha’s Cuttack will continue to have uninterrupted shows till September 4.
“The District Collector has allowed us to stage shows till September 4,” Rolex Circus coordinator Surya Mohanty told the media.
Citing a government programme, the District Collector and the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) had earlier directed the circus authorities to suspend their shows from September 3 to 10. They had the permission to conduct shows for 40 days, starting July 29.
The decision was withdrawn following flaks from different quarters, sources said.
