New Delhi: So, it is final. There will be no Class XII Board examinations this year, both for CBSE and ISCE. The same goes for Class X. The decision to not hold any exams was taken after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Health and safety of our students are of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect. Anxiety among students, parents, and teachers, which must be put to an end,” the PM said making the announcement.
As for the result, the union government has said that CBSE will release a “well-defined objective criteria” to declare the result “in a time-bound manner”. A final notification in this regard is expected soon.
