Berhampur: A tribal girl student of a residential high school in Mohana of Gajapati district was found to be pregnant.
According the sources, the school authorities took the Class X student to Mohana Community Health Centre for tests after they came to know that she had not been menstruating for past two months. The tests confirmed that she was five months pregnant.
Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha had directed Mohana BDO Bansidhara Khosala and police to probe the matter. The District Child Welfare official is inquiring the case.
