Bhubaneswar: Class XII students of all government and non-government higher secondary colleges applying for transfer to other colleges can do so from September 10, and only through online mode.
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) in a communication to all junior college principals said the ‘transfer admission’ process will be done only on www.samsodisha.gov.in
Applicants need to log into the SAMS portal using the user name (mobile number) and password given during the online registration and admission.
Transfer guidelines:
The transfer can take place only when there is a vacancy in destination school/college in the stream and the subject the applicant had enrolled during admission.
The request for transfer will be entertained only under special circumstances such as transfer, retirement, parents deaths or medical reasons.
Transfer cases from outside the state could be considered in case of parents transfer, retirement, parents death and only when the syllabus matches with the CHSE syllabus after the approval of DHSE, Odisha.
