Bhubaneswar: Driver of a car had a narrow escape after the four-wheeler he was driving caught fire near Kurlu Ghat in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district on Tuesday.
The driver, Prasanna Pradhan had given the car for repair at a garage and was driving it back home after the work was done when smoke started emanating from the vehicle’s engine near Kurlu Ghat.
Luckily, the vehicle owner Bhima Nayak who was following the car on a motorcycle noticed the smoke and asked the driver to get down to check. As Nayak opened the vehicle’s bonnet, fire broke out. Both escaped unhurt.
