Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister met several business leaders on the fourth day of his visit to Singapore on Wednesday as part of the ongoing efforts to attract investment in the state in different sectors.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister held discussions with top leaders of a number of Singapore-based firms on the possibility of setting up industrial units and other ventures in Odisha.
During the day, Majhi visited PEP Innovation Centre, a major semiconductor company in Singapore and held talks on establishment of their ventures in the state.
The CM also met Rene Pill Pedersen of AP Moller Maersk Group and discussed about establishing a ship recycling facility in the state.
He also discussed on enhancing port-based industrial infrastructure and logistics, including container terminals and the Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP), which will significantly empower the state economy.
