Cuttack: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will be relishing the famed food item of Cuttack, ‘Dahi Bara’, during a visit to Durga Puja pandals in the millennium city on Saturday.
Sources said, the CM will be visiting Khannagar Puja pandal where he will have the ‘Dahi Bara’ prepared by a noted vendor of the area, Kashi Bhai.
“We have made special preparations for the CM’s visit to Khannagar. He will be happy to taste the famous delicacy of Cuttack, specially prepared for the CM,” the puja committee members said.
According to sources, Dahi Bara has been prepared for more than 200 people who will visit the pandal following the CM’s arrival.
Tight security arrangements have been made in Cuttack for Majhi’s visit. The CM is scheduled to visit at least a dozen pandals in the city on the occasion of Navami, sources added.
