Angul: A stationary goods train caught fire at Angul station on Thursday afternoon.
According to sources, the train carrying coal from Talcher to Nalco plant in Angul had stopped at the station. After some time, smoke started coming out of a rack containing coal and soon it caught fire.
On being informed, Fire personnel from Angul rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Nobody was injured in the incident. The Fire personnel suspected that the coal might have caught fire due to overheating.
