Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) will install collapsible crowd management system with ramps and barricades for smooth darshan, Law Minister Pritviraj Harichandan said.
The collapsible wooden ramp and barricading will be placed inside the shrine. Besides, there will be separate queues for men, women, children, elderly persons, and divyang devotees, said sources.
A possible design of the collapsible crowd management system came to the fore on Monday. Starting from Sata Pahacha, the devotees will proceed through Nata Mandap for darshan.
The ramp will be installed at ‘Bahara Katha’ and devotees visiting the shrine will climb atop of it to get hassle-free darshan of the sibling deities before exiting through ‘Ghanti Dwara’.
“We have planned for disciplined darshan at Puri Srimandir from Margasira month on the Odia calendar. A high-level meeting regarding various projects of the temple is scheduled for October 18. As per the initial plan, the devotees will enter through Sata Pahacha and exit through Ghanti Dwara,” Harichandan said.
