Bhubaneswar: Colonel Balu Bharath has taken over as principal of Sainik School in Odisha capital.
Col Bharath, an Army Educational Corps Officer, is the 18th principal of the Sainik School in Bhubaneswar. He has a master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Mysore, master’s degree in Chinese language and culture from Central University, Gujarat and has undertaken educational training from the University of Bhopal.
During his career spanning over 18 years, Col Bharath has imparted training at the prestigious Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, AEC Training College and Centre in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh and worked as Education Officer at various operational defence establishments.
Recently, Lt Col Amit Tewari also joined as Administrative Officer of the Sainik School. The school staff, cadets and Old Boys Association (OBA) extended them a warm welcome.
