Corona Warrior Among 13 Fresh COVID-19 Positive Cases In Odisha’s Balasore District

Balasore: A corona warrior is among 13 fresh COVID-19 positive cases reported from Odisha’s Balasore district in the last 24 hours.

Eight of the new cases in Balasore are from quarantine centres, two from home quarantine and three local contact cases.

Out of 10 quarantined positive cases, 3 have returned from West Bengal, 2 from Gujarat, one each from Karnataka, Telangana, Maharastra and Uttar Pradesh, while one is at the isolation facility in AllMS, Bhubaneswar.

The three local contact cases — which includes one corona warrior — are contacts of previous positive cases.

The contact tracing of these patients is underway.

Out of a total of 658 cases in the district, 187 are active cases while 469 patients have recovered and discharged from COVID hospitals/centres.
