Coronavirus Outbreak: These Trains Via Odisha Cancelled

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has cancelled 10 trains (5 pairs) running through Odisha.

The decision was taken due to poor patronisation, an ECoR press release said, adding that further cancellation of trains, if required, will be announced after reviewing the passenger ticket bookings.

03. 12832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Tri-weekly Garib Rath Express from Bhubaneswar from March 20-31
04. 12831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Garib Rath Express from Dhanbad from March 21- 30 and on April 1

05. 12281 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express from Bhubaneswar on March 25

06. 12282 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Duronto Express from New Delhi on March 26

07. 12278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express from Puri from March 20-31

08. 12277 Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express from Howrah from March 20-31

09. 22708 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Express from Tirupati from from March 20-29

The ECoR has also appealed people to avoid non-essential travel.
