Bhubaneswar: Three people, including a couple were killed due to lightning strikes at two separate places in Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak districts in Odisha on Saturday.
In the first case, one Chakradhar Das of Sahupada village under Agarpada police limits in Bhandaripokhari was killed after being struck by lightning at his farm.
Another person who was there at the spot sustained injuries and has been hospitalised.
In a separate incident, a couple was killed due to lightning strike in Mayurbhanj district today afternoon.
