Rourkela: Two Covid-19 patients from Rourkela have recovered, informed the Home & Family Welfare department of Odisha via a tweet on Thursday evening.
The total number of recovered cases from novel coronavirus in Odisha stands at 41, leaving the state with 81 active cases to worry about.
Odisha, which has a doubling rate of between 11 and 20 – better than the national figure — has recorded one death so far during the deadly coronavirus pandemic, which is sweeping across the globe.
As far as districtwise figures are concerned, Khurda leads with 27 recoveries out of the maximum 47 positive cases. Sundergarh comes after that, with three recoveries – including the two persons in Rourkela on Thursday – out of 10 infected patients.
Jajpur district is on top as far as active cases are concerned, with 35, while only one patient has recovered.
