Bhubaneswar: The tally of COVID-19 cases in Odisha went up to 2,76,094 on Thursday with 1,913 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 1109 (58%) are in quarantine and 804 (42%) are local contacts.
Khurda continued to lead the district tally with 254 new cases followed by Cuttack (150), Angul (106), Jagatsinghpur (99), Sundargarh (99), Mayurbhanj (92), Kalahandi (82), Keonjhar (74), Balasore (73), Jajpur (72), Bargarh (63), Nuapada (63), Balangir (63), Puri (55), Koraput (54), Kendrapada (51), Sambalpur (50), Dhenkanal (48), Kandhamal (48), Jharsuguda (48), Bhadrak (46), Nabarangpur (41), Nayagarh (33), Ganjam (28), Sonepur (20), Malkangiri (16), Rayagada (14), Boudh (12), Deogarh (5) and Gajapati (4 ),
Besides, the stat pool has 50 cases.
At present, Odish has 19,932 active cases and 2,54,913 recovered cases.
