Berhampur: Rotary Club of Berhampur, Ganjam Chamber of Commerce and Marwari Mahila Samiti Berhampur came together to launch a 21-day Audio Awareness Vehicle that will move around the city and nearby areas with audio message on COVID-19 precautions, guidelines and vaccination.
Mounted on an e-auto, the campaign vehicle was flagged off from the premises of Subham Celebrations in the presence of T Parthasarathy and Tarun, president and secretary of Rotary Club of Berhampur; V Santosh Kumar, secretary, Chamber of Commerce and Ruby Khemani, president, Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Samiti on Saturday.
In addition to audio messages, the vehicle will distribute pamphlets containing information regarding Pancha Sutra, precautions and contact details for tele-medications, vaccine centres, etc.
The vehicle will move around the city and adjoining towns and villages of Berhampur from 8 am to 8 pm everyday. The project is undertaken with the support of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC). This project was carried out for 15 days in July last year.
