Bhubaneswar: To help students continue with their studies during the lockdown period, the Odisha State Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has directed the authorities concerned to ensure the distribution of the school books among the students within five days.
In a letter, the OSEPA director has directed the District Education Officers (DEOs) and the District Project Coordinators (DPCs), to direct the cluster resource centre coordinators (CRCCs) and the teachers to provide the school books to the students from Class I to Class VIII either by calling the parents and guardians to the respective schools or at their houses with strict adherence to social distancing norms.
The OSEPA director, however, has asked these officials not to distribute the books in the hotspot and containment zones.
