COVID-19: New Positive Cases Drop Below 100 In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Continuing the downward trend, new COVID-19 cases fell below 100 in the city on Monday.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 92 persons tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours while 228 patients recovered.

While maximum 63 positive cases were local contacts, 28 were quarantine cases.

Of the local contacts, 7 cases were detected each in Nayapalli and Sailashree Vihar, 6 in Old Town and 5 each in Chandrasekharpur and Mancheswar.

Two patients have succumbed to the disease during the period taking the toll to 154. While total 26,377 patients have recovered, there are 2142 active cases in the city at present.
