Bhubaneswar: In the wake of soaring coronavirus cases in Ganjam district, the Odisha government has deputed as many as five OAS (Odisha Administrative Service) officers and 47 ORS (Odisha Revenue Service) officers to assist the district administration in tackling the COVID situation.
The government issued an order in the context. According to a letter, the Government of Odisha deployed five senior OAS officers, Saroj Kumar Rout, Abanikanta Sahoo, Jogendra Majhi, Jagdish Sarangi and Alok Kumar Dehury to assist the Ganjam district administration in managing the situation smoothly until further orders.
The government also sent 47 ORS officers to handle the worst-hit district of the state.
