Bhubaneswar: A total of 183 new COVID-19 cases were reported overnight taking the positive tally in Odisha to 3,333,10 as on Sunday.
Of the new cases detected in 23 districts, 106 were from quarantine centres and 77 were local contacts.
Angul reported the highest of 20 new cases followed by Sambalpur and Khurda 19 each, Sundargarh and Nuapada 18 each, Puri (13), Jharsuguda (11), Bargarh (10), Mayurbhanj (8), Cuttack and Jajpur 7 each, Balasore (6), Kendrapara (4), Keonjhar, Balangir and Gajapati 3 each, Deogarh (2) and one each in Bhadrak, Boudh, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Nayagarh.
Besides, the state pool has 6 positive cases.
At present, Odisha has 2,039 active cases while 3,29,318 patients have recovered.
