Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 recovered count neared 22,000 in Odisha with 681 more patients recuperating from the disease on Sunday.
Five districts in the state reported more than 50 recovered cases. Cuttack district registered highest 91 cases followed by Gajapati with 88, Koraput 66, Khurda 61 and Rayagada 57, according to Health department.
The districts with double digit recoveries are Ganjam with 43 cases, Sundargarh 32, Nayagarh 30, Sonepur 25, Kandhamal 20, Dhenkanal 18, Keonjhar 18, Bhadrak 16, Sambalpur 15, Jagatsinghpur 14, Jajpur 14, Deogarh 13 and Mayurbhanj and Puri with 10 each.
The number of recovered patients from other districts is as follow:
7 each from Jharsuguda & Kalahandi
6 from Balangir
5 each from Angul, Balasore & Malkangiri
4 from Kendrapara
1 from Boudh
With today’s figure, total recovered cases in the state went up to 21,954.
