COVID-19 Tally Nears 25K Mark In Bhubaneswar With 316 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases soared to 24,853 in Bhubaneswar on Friday with 316 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Of the new cases, 73% are local contact cases (232) and 84 quarantine.

While Baramunda has the highest 15 cases, Nayapalli and Patia have 12 cases each followed by 10 from Dumduma, 9 from BJB Nagar, 8 each from Khandagiri and Satya Nagar, 7 each from Acharya Vihar and Rasulgarh, 6 each from Chandrasekharpur, Jagamara and Old Town, 5 each from Patrapada and Saheed Nagar and 4 each from Bomikhal, Laxmisagar, Mancheswar, Rudrapur, Unit-8 and Sundarpada.

On the other hand, 328 patients have recovered from the disease.

With 111 deaths and 21,214 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has 3507 active cases at present.
