Bhubaneswar: In order to meet the healthcare needs for the people in view of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Odisha government has invited applications from the qualified medical staff, including retired medicos for appointment in government hospitals, on contractual basis for a period of three months till June 30, which may be extended, if required.
In a notification, the Health and Family Welfare Department has offered the daily honorarium to the following medical staff.
Specialist- Rs 5000
Medical Officer with MBBS Degree – Rs 3000
Staff Nurse- Rs 1000
Laboratory Technician- Rs 1000
Pharmacist- Rs 1000
Radiographers- Rs 1000
Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male/Female)- Rs 850
The eligible doctors, staff nurses and other paramedics who wish to join may walk-in in the respective Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer (CDM & PHO) office or apply in the prescribed format given in the official web portal of the department https://dhsodisha.nic.in along with scanned document with proof of their qualification, age, identity, Odisha Medical Council Registration or other registration and photograph in the email ID of the respective CDM&PHOs, said the notification.
