Bhubaneswar: As part of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, the staff of Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) here were given the shots today.
ILS Director Dr Ajay Parida took the first dose of ‘Covaxin’ vaccine on the day.
He was followed by more than 80 staff, scientists and students who took the first dose of vaccine.
Sources said all those who took the jab are doing well and discharging their regular duties.
Recently, the ILS Bhubaneswar was among 10 institutions in the country for genomic surveillance for COVID-19.
