COVID-19 Vaccination Rate Slips To 88% In Odisha On Third Day

Bhubaneswar: With 14,291 health care workers getting COVID-19 vaccination against the target of 16,261 in Odisha on Tuesday, the success rate slipped to 88% against 102% on Monday.

According to Health and Family Welfare department sources, the state government had opened 182 session sites for vaccination of 16,261 beneficiaries on the day. Five minor cases of Adverse Events Following Immunisation (AEFI) were reported.

As many as 13 districts recorded vaccination of 100% or more while Bhubaneswar registered 69% and Cuttack district 78%.

The government targets to vaccinate 1.78 lakh health workers through 1,698 sessions by January 25.
