Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the COVID-19 vaccination, the Odisha government on Monday said that the Centre will take feedback on the vaccination programme from two hospitals in the state.
Director (Health and Family Welfare) Bijay Panigrahi said a two-way communication system will be set up at the Sundargarh district headquarters hospital and Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar from.
These two hospitals will provide feedback to the Centre on the vaccination programme in Odisha through video conferencing, he added.
Panigrahi stated that the vaccination programme will be conducted at 160 session sites in Odisha and the state government has formed a monitoring committee for the smooth conduct of the drive.
He further informed that the vaccines are most likely to arrive in Odisha in a couple of days.
Panigrahi also said due to the COVID-19 vaccination, the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign will be put on hold for three days from January 17 to January 19.
